Viewing inline PDFs in Firefox on Mac with firefox-mac-pdf

Unlike Apple’s Safari browser, Mozilla Firefox always streams PDFs as file downloads.

The firefox-mac-pdf plugin uses PDFKit to change this behaviour so Firefox always opens PDFs for inline viewing. Inline PDFs in Firefox present a contextual menu similar to Safari’s to allow for saving, printing, zooming, and browsing.

firefox-inline-pdf-pluginThe Firefox PDF for Mac plugin requires Firefox 3 as well as Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, and can be downloaded from Google Code here.
