Getting technical information on any Mac with Mactracker
Mactracker is a free Mac OS X and iPhone application that provides detailed information on every Apple Macintosh computer ever made, including processor speed, memory, optical drives, graphic cards, supported Mac OS versions, and expansion options.
Additionally, it includes information on Apple mice, keyboards, displays, printers, scanners, digital cameras, iPod, Apple TV, iPhone, Wi-Fi Cards/Base Stations, Newton, and Mac OS versions as well as allowing you to gauge benchmark scores based on an average of user-submitted benchmarks to the Primate Labs Geekbench service.
